What is the research about?

To help us learn more about what it is like to live with hidradenitis suppurativa

To receive feedback on some questionnaires asking about hidradenitis suppurativa

Parents/caregivers of adolescents with hidradenitis suppurativa aged 12-70 will be asked to provide consent for their child to take part in the study

Why do we need you?

By sharing your experiences with us we will better understand the experiences of patients with hidradenitis suppurativa, which we will use to better measure patient experiences in clinical trials for new treatments
​
What does it involve?
-
Answering a few questions about yourself (or your child with Hidradenitis Suppurativa) so we can decide if you/your child can take part in the study

Two 90-minute telephone interviews about your (your child’s) experience with hidradenitis suppurativa and your (your child’s) views on a new questionnaire about hidradenitis suppurativa

In appreciation for your time, we will offer you $185 for completing the interview and an additional $50 for providing proof of your Hidradenitis Suppurativa diagnosis and severity.
