Howdy, friend! I’m Dr. Katelyn Baker—mental health professional, advocate, storyteller, and all-around fan of real talk. My work revolves around making sure people feel seen, whether that’s through mental health resources, patient advocacy, or just showing up and keeping it honest. As someone with HS myself, I know how isolating chronic illness can be, which is why I’m all about creating spaces where people feel supported and empowered.

As a crew member, I bring a mix of psychology, media, and storytelling to the table—basically, I help make sure important stories get told in a way that actually resonates. I also co-host The Healing Space Podcast and work with HSConnect to develop free mental health resources, because no one should have to figure this stuff out alone.

Beyond that, I’m a proud member of the LGBTQ+ community, engaged to my amazing partner, and I’m a foster mom. Our home is full of love, chaos, and a whole lot of pet hair, thanks to our two dogs and our cat. When I’m not working, you’ll probably find me playing video games, crocheting, or fully embracing my homebody era—because honestly, a cozy night in is elite.

At the end of the day, I’m here to do meaningful work, lift up the voices that need to be heard, and to maybe crack a joke or two.
