Homemade Ketchup

Ingredients
- 6 oz low sodium tomato paste
- 4 tablespoons apple cider vinegar
- ¼ cup brown sugar
- 1 tablespoon Italian seasoning
- 1 cup water (may vary based on your desired consistency)
Preparation
- In a medium saucepan, combine all ingredients except water and cook over medium heat until the vinegar begins to simmer and evaporate.
- Stir continuously to prevent burning. Slowly add ¼ of the water into the pan while stirring. Continue to add water gradually until you’ve reached your desired consistency.
- Store in the fridge and use within one month.
