Ingredients

  • 2 lb pork tenderloins
  • ½ cup honey
  • ¼ cup brown sugar
  • 1 tablespoon red wine vinegar
  • 1 chipotle pepper in adobo sauce, seedless
  • 1 teaspoon chili powder
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt

Preparation

  1. Make sure the pork is skinless.
  2. Place all ingredients—except the tenderloins—into a food processor and pulse until the chipotle pepper is blended and all ingredients are evenly combined.
  3. Pour the mixture into a large gallon Ziploc bag.
  4. Place pork tenderloins into the Ziploc bag and seal. Ensure the marinade evenly coats the meat.
  5. Let the pork rest in the marinade bag in the fridge for at least 3 hours, turning it over halfway through.
  6. Take the pork out of the fridge 30 minutes prior to grilling.
  7. Remove the pork from the marinade and place it on a hot grill.
  8. Turn the pork over every 5 minutes to prevent burning, cooking until the internal temperature reaches 145°F.
  9. Place the cooked pork on a plate and tent with aluminum foil for 10 minutes. Serve immediately.
