Jillian is an accomplished strategic leader and global patient advocate with extensive experience in executive leadership, organizational transformation, management consulting, and strategic partnerships. Her career includes senior leadership roles at Boeing and the U.S. Department of Defense, where her contributions earned her the Secretary of Defense Medal for Outstanding Public Service.
Jillian’s passion for hidradenitis suppurativa (HS) advocacy grew from more than a decade of navigating the complexities of her husband’s severe HS across healthcare systems in the U.S. and abroad. As co-founder of HS Warrior Stories, she has traveled the world amplifying patient voices, documenting lived experiences, and building connections among patients, healthcare professionals, and advocacy organizations. Her work spans international advocacy initiatives, collaboration with healthcare industry leaders, advocacy for policy change on Capitol Hill, and efforts to advance HS awareness, education, and patient representation worldwide.
Team Tidbit: Outside of advocacy, Jillian is an avid world traveler, music enthusiast, and animal lover. She firmly believes tacos deserve their own food group and was recently honored with the unofficial award of “Best Hug” by an HS Warrior.
