Teen Support
Most teens have never met anyone else with HS and feel alone on their journey. We’re providing them a safe and supported space to do just that with our Real Talk Teen Group. We encourage you to talk with your child about joining this group!
We do require cameras to be on for introductions to ensure your child’s safety. If there are any concerns about who your child will be speaking with, you’re welcome to join for the first few minutes, but will be asked to leave when the meeting begins.

HS Description Letter
Sometimes the hardest part is of having a child with HS is explaining HS, especially to those who are not close to you.
We’ve tackled this for you and have come up with a letter that you can insert your child’s information in to help explain HS to their school and the impacts of HS on your child.
HS Food Trigger Petition Letter
If food is a trigger for your child, below is a letter that can be provided to your provider or the school to petition for different lunch choices for your child. If you would prefer an emailed copy of these letters, email us HERE
Kids Camp Opportunities

Camp Wonder – Rutledge, Georgia
WHO? Any child residing in North America, having been diagnosed with any skin condition
WHEN? Mid-July (dates available on Camp Wonder website)
WHERE? Camp Twin Lakes in Rutledge, GA (about 45 minutes east of Atlanta)
WHAT? Campers can look forward to a week of ceramics, archery, tennis, media center, pool, lake, treehouse, and make wonderful memories with other children. Each night is themed such as campfire, carnival, prom, movie night and talent show.
HOW MUCH? Camp Wonder is free!

Camp Discovery for Kids
Hosted by American Academy of Dermatology Association
Camp Discovery offers children living with a chronic skin condition a one-of-a-kind camp experience.
Provided at no cost to the families, Camp Discovery is one week of fun for kids with conditions ranging from eczema and psoriasis, to vitiligo and alopecia, to epidermolysis bullosa, ichthyosis and hidradenitis suppurativa.
