HS Description Letter

Sometimes the hardest part is of having a child with HS is explaining HS, especially to those who are not close to you. 

We’ve tackled this for you and have come up with a letter that you can insert your child’s information in to help explain HS to their school and the impacts of HS on your child.  

HS Food Trigger Petition Letter

Kids Camp Opportunities

Camp Wonder – Rutledge, Georgia

WHO? Any child residing in North America, having been diagnosed with any skin condition

WHEN? Mid-July (dates available on Camp Wonder website)

WHERE? Camp Twin Lakes in Rutledge, GA (about 45 minutes east of Atlanta)

WHAT? Campers can look forward to a week of ceramics, archery, tennis, media center, pool, lake, treehouse, and make wonderful memories with other children. Each night is themed such as campfire, carnival, prom, movie night and talent show.

HOW MUCH? Camp Wonder is free!

Camp Discovery for Kids

Hosted by American Academy of Dermatology Association 

Camp Discovery offers children living with a chronic skin condition a one-of-a-kind camp experience.

Provided at no cost to the families, Camp Discovery is one week of fun for kids with conditions ranging from eczema and psoriasis, to vitiligo and alopecia, to epidermolysis bullosa, ichthyosis and hidradenitis suppurativa.
