We’ve Been Expecting You.
You found us…finally. The search ends here.
HS Connect is the largest patient-led advocacy group for HS.
We work hand-in-hand with dermatologists, researchers, and pharmaceutical partners to make sure HS patients are seen, supported, and validated.
Here, you’ll find real answers, real resources, and real people who get it.

We’re taking HS Mainstream.
We’re not hiding anymore.
We’re not ashamed.

Supporting someone with HS?
Why Times Square?
Hidradenitis Suppurativa has lived in the shadows for far too long.
Many of us have carried this condition in silence for years, sometimes decades, before finding answers.
On average, it takes 7-10 years to receive a diagnosis.
While we encourage everyone to seek medical care (see our Dermatologist Finder), we also know too many patients have faced dismissal or mistreatmentwhen asking for help.
That’s why we chose Times Square; the biggest stage in the world.
We’re bringing HS out of the shadows to find those who’ve felt lost, unseen, or alone.
We see you.
We get you.
We got you.

What you usually see are the smiles, the final projects, and the big wins… but today, I want to show you the real side of advocacy. 🎥💜
This is the behind the scenes, the long days, the planning, the learning, the heart-to-heart moments with my fellow HS warriors. The part where we remind each other why we started, why we keep going, and who we’re doing this for.
Being an HS advocate isn’t just about standing in front of a camera, it’s about showing up for those still suffering in silence. It’s about leadership, connection, education, and healing together.
Every single one of us plays a role in this movement. From sharing our stories to walking the streets spreading awareness, to proudly showing our scars and our strength. Because change doesn’t happen overnight, it happens when warriors rise together. 🙌🏽
This is the journey that led us to take over NYC — the largest patient-led HS campaign #findus25. Thank to hsconnectorg and our sponsors ucb_usa, incyte and novartis for making this possible and believing in all the warriors. 🗽✨
A 30-story billboard in Times Square. Our own runway. Our voices finally seen, heard, and felt.
This is more than a moment, it’s a movement.

Behind the song. Behind the runway. Behind the story.
Within one week, I rewrote lyrics, recorded vocals in Georgia, flew to New York, and watched my music come to life on a Times Square runway.
Two of my original songs — one about healing from abuse and one about battling chronic illness — became a mashup for the HS Connect Runway Show.
Seeing people walk proudly to those lyrics — showing their scars, their strength, their stories — was one of the most powerful moments of my life.
🎶 I am more than my condition. I will fight for my remission.
This is the heart behind the song. 💙

Find the Right Dermatologist
It’s a very important relationship
HS erupts in tender and private places, and having a dermatologist who makes you feel comfortable, seen and heard is really important. There is no one-size-fits-all approach to treatment, but the physicians on this list can be a good place to start.
